1 C shortening
1 C brown sugar
1 C sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 C flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
3 C oatmeal
1 C pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Beat first 5 ingredients well and add flour, salt, soda and oatmeal. Add nuts if desired. Bake 325. Cool on cookie rack or waxed paper.
