1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar

1 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions:
In a bowl mix the melted butter with the brown sugar and the sugar and combine well.
Add the one large egg plus one egg yolk and vanilla, mix till it's lighter in color.
Add flour, soda, and the salt. Mix well and scrape the sides well.

Stir in by hand the chocolate chips. Let the batter rest on the counter for 20 minutes so that the flour has time to absorb (This step is very important.) Using a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop onto the pans.

Bake at 325° degrees for 8 to 9 minutes on the middle rack of the oven, rotating the sheets halfway through.
Let them sit in the pan on the counter for 5 to 7 minutes more before removing them from the pan. They cook the rest of the way on the pan.
