1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix (without pudding mix)
1 bag (7 oz) sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts, pecans or peanuts
1 cup melted butter or margarine

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. In the prepared baking dish, layer the pie filling over the crushed pineapple. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling, smoothing evenly. Pour the melted butter or margarine over the top, covering evenly. Top with the coconut and nuts. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until brown on top and bubble. Makes 12 to 18 servings.
