5 qts. greenbeans
3 qts. water
1 pt. vinegar
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix liquid and seasonings and bring to a boil. Add beans, whole or snapped, and cook 30 minutes. Pack in sterile jars and add 1 tsp. salt to each. Be sure liquid is within 1/2 inch to the top. Spread the brine around and finish filling with boiling water. Seal and water bath for 10 minutes.
