1/2 lb. pork sausage 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/3 cup all purpose flour 3 1/4 cups milk 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper
Brown sausage in skillet stirring until it crumbles. Drain reserving 1 tbsp of drippings in skillet. Hold sausage. Melt butter and flour in drippings and cook 1 minute, gradually add the milk. Cook and stir over medium heat til thichened and bubbly. Stir in seasonings and sausage. Heat well.
