Ingredients: 2 1/4 Cups all-purpose flour (I add 1/4 to 1/2 extra cup) 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 Cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter-softened 3/4 Cup granulated white sugar 3/4 Cup + plus 2 Tablespoons packed light brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla- (I use Mexican Vanilla) 2 large eggs-room temperature 2 Cups (one 12 oz. pkg) Chocolate Chips-Chunks or Mini Morsels 1/2 to 3/4 Cups walnuts chopped fine-*Omit for Nut Allergies *My Grandmother always added a Pinch of Nutmeg or Cinnamon (optional)

Directions:1, Preheat oven to 375* 2. Mix-flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl 3. Beat butter, white and brown sugars and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy 4. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each one 5 Gradually add flour mixture (low speed at first) 6. Add morsels and nuts 7. Using dry parchment 8. Scoop cookies with a cookie scoop for uniform size-Do Not pat the ball down! 9. Place rack in middle of oven and Bake cookies for 9-11 minutes or until lightly golden brown |

Notes: NOTE- * WHEN USING NUTS MAKE SURE NO ONE HAS A NUT ALLERGY * Cookie should be slightly soft when removed from oven, they will firm up while cooling. * Do Not use cooking spray, your cookie bottoms will burn. * Other flavor chips- butterscotch, white chocolate, peanut butter * Instead of nuts-Try heath chips or butter-finger chips they are awesome!
