2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
2 cups rich milk (whole)

8 tbsp meat drippings from a roast beef

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and salt together. Slowly stir in milk and beat vigorously. Add eggs one at a time, beating with rotary beater to produce creamy batter. Cover and chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Spoon the 8 tbsp of drippings from beef roast into shallow baking pan. Heat to sizzling in oven. Beat batter well, pour into hot pan 1/2 inch deep. Place in 450 degree oven for 15 minutes. When risen, reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp and brown. Cut into squares and serve with roast.
