2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 package active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
3 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and add the baking powder and salt. Heat the buttermilk to just luke warm. Crumble and dissolve the yeast in the milk with sugar. Just before adding dry ingredients to liquid, stir in the melted butter. Mix well. Turn out on floured board and knead lightly, just until smooth. Make into balls at once. Place in pans and brush with some butter. Let rise to double in size, bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
