1 1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
3 Tablespoons milk
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup ground raisins that have been softened in 1 cup water then drained
2 cups oatmeal (quick-cooking)
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, milk and vanilla. Blend in ground raisins.

Whisk together flour, cinnamon, and baking soda. Add to butter mixture. Stir in oatmeal.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated 375 degree oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
