3 cups flour

1 12 oz bag Nestle Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

¾ cup sugar

¾ cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

2 large eggs

1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually beat in dry ingredient mix.

Stir in chocolate chips.



Form batter into rounded balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 9 to 11 mins or until golden brown. Cool for 2 mins on baking sheet then remove to cooling rake,
