About 1 1/2 pounds of beef stew meat
1 lb bacon chopped
4 medium onions sliced thinly
6 carrots sliced
8 potatoes diced in large bite sized pieces
Fresh parsley finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium size pot seer the beef until is brown in the bacon drippings from the chopped bacon. Put remainder of ingredients into pot and cover with water. Simmer over very low heat for about 2 hours.
