3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 turnips or about 1 pound, peeled and very thinly sliced.
1 green onion diced
salt and pepper to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Melt butter in a skillet and saute the turnips until coated in butter and partially cooked. (about 3 minutes) In a eight inch round cake pan (preferrably non stick) arrange a lavyer of overlapping turnips. Sprinkle with some of the green onion, salt and pepper. Repeat with remaining ingredients, ending with a layer of turnips. Bake until crisp and golden for about 30 minutes.
