1 c. water, 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. flour, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour, mixed with sugar and salt. Stir vigorously until the mixture is quite dry - approximately 3 minutes.
Remove from the flame and add unbeaten eggs one by one, beating hard after each addition. The resulting paste should be smooth.
Drop small or large balls of pastry on a buttered and lightly floured cookie sheet. Bake 30 to 45 minutes in 375 oven until a delicate brown and until there is no moisture on the outside of the puffs. Remove from the oven and cool.
