6 quarts figs 6 quarts boiling water 3 quarts sugar juice of 3 lemons
Wash figs. Pour boiling water over figs and let stand for 15 minutes. Drain. Add sugar and lemon juice to figs in an oven proof container. Bring to a boil on top of stove, then place in 350 oven for 30 minutes. Pack and seal.
