1 lb box of powdered sugar
1 tsp baking powder
4 c sifted flour
Anise oil or seed

Beat eggs until thick and light. Gradually add the box of powdered sugar. Beat 15 minutes more important to dissolve sugar. Gold in flour and baking powder. Chill several hours. Lightly flour and roll out about 1/4 piece of dough to 1/4 inch thick. Work it until it is smooth.

After rolling it about the width of the apringerle roller it should be 1/8 in thick. Cut cookies in squares and put on board or cookie sheets to dry overnight. May sprinkle the seeds on the board before placing the cookies into he board or you may add the seeds of oil to the cookie dough.

Next morning place the cookies on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 325* for 10 to 15 minutes
They keep well in a closed container. May also freeze

Don’t use roller just cut out in triangle shapes. Joe’s favorite and Vince likes them also.
