1/4 cup butter
1 9 inch pie shell
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon rind, grated
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 unbeaten egg yolks
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons corn starch
3 egg whites
1 tablespoon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a pan. Add butter, lemon rind, lemon juice and egg yolks. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Cool. Fold in sour cream. Put in pie shell. Beat egg whites until very stiff. Add 1 tablespoon sugar. Spoon meringue over pie. Place under broiler with door slightly open to brown meringue.
