1 1/2 c butter, softened
3/4 c sugar
1 t vanilla
3 1/2 c flour

1 bag of caramels, unwrapped
2 T milk
4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped (or chocolate chips)
1 T butter
1 t sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, beat 1 1/2 c butter on high until creamy. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Add flour beating at low speed until blended.

Divide dough in half between two sheets of waxed paper, roll into 1/4 inch thickness, cut with 2 1/2 inch round cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Repeat with second portion of dough.

Bake 350º for 12-14 minutes or until set and just barely light golden (do not overbake). Remove from cookie sheets to racks to cool completely.

In microwavable bowl, microwave caramel and milk on high 2 minutes and stir every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Frost each cookie with about 1 rounded teaspoonful of caramel.

In microwavable bowl, melt chocolate and 1 T butter uncovered on high for 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Drizzle with chocolate over caramel on each cookie. Sprinkle with salt
