1 C. Soft shortening
1 C. Firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
2 C. Sifted flour
2 t. Soda
1/2 t. Salt
1 C. Oatmeal (uncooked)
3/4 C. Chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening and sugar together until creamy. Add eggs and peanut butter; beat well. Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture - mix well. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips. Shape dough to shape 1 inch balls.

Place on ungreased cookie pan. With tines of fork, press to make crisscrosses on each. Bake in pre-heated 350º oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
