Butter five slices of breat, cut off crust and cube. Grate 3/4 lb longhorn cheese. Butter a baking dish. Layer bread and cheese. Beat 4 eggs, add two cups milk, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp dry mustard. Pour egg mixture over bread and cheese and let stand over night. Bake in 300 degree oven for one hour. Cover while cooking. Uncover to brown for 5 minutes.
