2/3 cup tarragon vinegar;
1/2 cup vegetable oil;
3 cloves of garlic OR 2 tsp garlic salt;
pepper to taste;
1 tsp sugar;
1-1/2 tsp salt;
1 medium onion thinly sliced;
12 canned whole mushrooms drained

Combine ingredients and cover. Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight.
