3 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup butter
3 beaten eggs
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups coconut
3 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions:

Mix together dry ingredients. Add beaten eggs and add remaining ingredients. Preheat oven to 350º
