Directions:
Roll cookie dough into balls, and place on a tinfoil lined cookie sheet. Space 12 round cookies on the pan, and with the palm of your hand, squish the ball half way down. Put pan on middle shelf of the oven (only do one pan at a time and do not place on the top or bottom shelf of oven. Bake 7 minutes. Remove from oven, and immediately add additional chocolate chips to the hot cookies. After a couple minutes, remove from pan and place on on wax paper on the counter.

Patsy had so many people wanting her cookies, that she started a business, and called it "Cookie and a Prayer." She would pray the following over each batch of cookies she made...
Dear God, I give you thanks for the cookies I'm about to bake and ask you to bless __________
(the person she is baking them for).
With each ingredient, as she adds it, she thanks God for supplying it. For example:
Butter - the cow who provided the milk to make the butter
Eggs - the chickens
Sugars - the sugar cane
Salt - the salts of the earth
Vanilla - the vanilla bean
Flour - The wheat fields
Chocolate - the cocoa beans
As she flattens each cookie with the palm of her hand..she says "God Bless You" with each cookie.
As she packages them up, she prays, "God Bless these cookies and those who will be eating them..
In Jesus name - Amen."
