1 medium size head cabbage; grated fine
1 tablespoon salt
DRESSING
1-1/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle salt over cabbage. Let stand 2 hours, then squeeze out juice. Chop about 4 stalks celery, 1 or 2 red or green peppers and add to drained cabbage

Bring dressing ingredients to a boil and let simmer 7 minutes. When cool pour over cabbage. Let stand 24 hours.
