1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup chopped nuts
2 6-ounce packages chocolate chips
1 15-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, brown sugar and eggs. Add vanilla, flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal. Melt in double boiler the chips, condensed milk, butter, salt and vanilla. Press 2/3 of dough mixture on a 10" x 15" greased cookie sheet. Spread with chocolate mixture and 1 cup chopped nuts and put remaining 1/3 dough on top. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
