Blend in medium bowl until smooth:
8 oz softened Cream Cheese
1/3 c sugar
1 t vanilla
1 large egg
Pour mixture into unbaked 10" pastry crust and sprinkle with 1 1/4 c chopped pecans.

In another bowl, blend until smooth:
3 large eggs
1 c light corn syrup
1 t vanilla
1/2 c sugar
Gently pour mixture over nuts

Bake on center oven rack 50 to 60 minutes until center is just set and pastry is golden. Cool on wire rack.
