1 15-ounce can red, water-packed cherries, undrained
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
2/3 cup cold water
2 3-ounce packages cream cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat undrained cherries and sugar to boiling. Soften gelatin in 1/3 cup cold water. Add hot cherry juice only, to soften gelatin and stir to dissolve. Add remaining 1/3 cup cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Pour 1/2 cup gelatin mixture into bottom of 4 or 5-cup mold. Chill. Soften cream cheese; add mayonnaise. Blend into remaining gelatin, then fold in cherries, marshmallows, and nuts and pour over cherry gelatin and chill.
