1 ¼ c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first 7 items in a large saucepan.
Simmer on low for 8-10 minutes.
Mix in additional items.
Using a small scoop or teaspoon drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 350º for 8-10 minutes
