When I first moved to Tremonton 20 years ago, Rhonda Gephart was my next door neighbor. She came over in her friendly Rhonda way to welcome us into the neighborhood. As the moving truck was being unloaded with all of our valuables, she noticed that several musical instruments were being unloaded. Rhonda soon had talked to the whole family and found out who liked what, and who could play those musical instruments. She asked me if I would like to be in Reflections, then she proceeded to tell me what Reflections was and what they did. I told her that I would think about it. She waited a few minutes, talking the whole time and telling me all the wonderful things about Reflections and what fun it was, and that I would just love it. Then she asked me again if I would like to join, and that I could just come with her to one rehearsal to see if I liked it. I could tell that she was not going to take no for an answer. So I went, and I really did enjoy myself. Then I found out that I had to tryout and sing in front of Beth. This was terrifying to me! I sang a hymn out of the hymn book and then she asked if I usually sang alto. I said, "Yup!" Then she made me sing the alto part! I was literally shaking by this time and I really needed to go to the bathroom. She then remarked, "That wasn't too scary, was it?" I remarked that it was "Scary as Hell!" She jerked her head back with shock! I don't know if she was in shock with the language that I used, or that it was scary to try out in front of her. Needless to say I fell in love with Reflections! I loved the ladies - Beth, MaryBeth, Rhonda, Kris, Sharon, Rolayne, Carol, Marsha ... I loved all the ladies! They are the best ladies in the whole wide world! When we moved to Tremonton, our family was in a world of hurt and these ladies (Sisters), picked me up and put me on their shoulders and showed me what true charity is! I have had other times in my life when I needed to be hoisted up on their backs and have been carried and healed by their tender loving care.

Reflections is music! It is our way to show love for our Savior through the music we sing. As Reflections members we honor the Savior through Christ like exemplary service that is rendered to one another and to communities that we serve. I thank my Heavenly Father for this gift of being a member of Reflections, for the love of music and the gift of friendship that I receive by being a member of this truly remarkable group of sisterhood.
