3 cups cold mashed sweet potatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs of sweet potatoes)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 large eggs, beaten
1/3 c half & half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 bag of Marshmallows

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, beat sweet potatoes, sugar, cinnamon, butter, eggs, milk and vanilla until fluffy.
Spoon into a greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dish.
Cover top of sweet potatoes with marshmallows
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown .

This was prepared by my mom (your grandmother) every Thanksgiving. We all tried to get the part with the most marshmallows. She had an oval ceramic baking dish that she always used for this.

Most people refer to this as sweet potato casserole, but my family only knew it as sweet potato puff.
