Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 Large Green Tomatoes
2 Cups Buttermilk
2 Cups of Self Rising Flour
Oil for Frying
Salt
Pepper
Dijon Mustard
4 Hamburger Buns
1 Pound Hamburger Meat
1 Package Onion Soup Mix
4 Slices Swiss Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Slice your tomatoes into slices about ¼” thick. Lightly salt them and let them sit in a baking pan for about an hour.

Prepare your meat. Combine your onion soup packet into the hamburger meat. Add salt and pepper to the meat. Mash all together and make 4 hamburger patties. Start grilling your hamburgers.
Heat oil in a frying pan on medium high heat. Dip your tomato slices into your buttermilk and then drench into your flour. Then fry the slices in the frying pan until golden brown. Let drain on a paper towel to soak up some of the grease.

Top your burgers with the swiss cheese once done. Top with Dijon mustard and fried green tomatoes. I like to leave a few tomatoes on the side to munch on. Enjoy!

My mom loved the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes". We always loved watching that movie together.
