1 C butter softened
1 C sugar
1 C packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 can (8 oz) unsweetened crushed pineapple drained
1 C chopped walnuts
1/4 C chopped maraschino cheeries
Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the pineapple, walnuts and cherries.Drop by rounded Tbs 2 " apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 7 - 9 minutes or until lightly browned.

Yield: 3 doz
