1 1/2 lb Jimmy Dean Sausage
1 1/2 c chopped celery
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pkg Lipton Noodle Soup Mix (without chicken)
2/3 c water
12 T Wild Rice
1 c water
1/3 c slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' sausage, celery and onion together, set aside. Mix soup mix with 2/3 c water. Cook rice in 1 c water until just cooked. Add almonds and all together. Pour into 9x13 pan. Cover very tightly with foil. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

This is a fabulous dish that is neither chinese nor chicken! Originally from a DAR friend, it is now a staple at holiday gatherings of the Gandy's!
