1 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter, softened, unsalted
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
12 oz bag chocolate chips
8 oz. semi sweet chocolate, grated

Pulse 1 cup oats until fine. In large bowl, stir together ground oats, remaining ½ cup whole oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In separate bowl beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy, then add vanilla and peanut butter. Add eggs one at a time, gradually add flour. Add chocolate chips and grated chocolate, beating just until combined. Chill, covered, at least 2 hours. Preheat oven to 325. Form dough into 2” balls and arrange 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten slightly. Bake 15 minutes until pale golden.
