2 pkg. (16 squares) semi sweet baking chocolate, divided
3/4 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c butter
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c flour
1/4 t. baking powder
2 c nuts, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Chop 8 squares of chocolate, set aside. Microwave rest of chocolate, stir until smooth and melted. Stir in sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking powder, then stir in reserved chocolate pieces and nuts. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12-13 minutes at 350º. Cool pan on rack for 1 minute before transferring cookies to rack to cool completely.
