1 cup sugar
½ tsp salt
1 cup dark karo
3 eggs
½cup butter
1½ tsp vanilla
1½ cup nuts
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, salt and karo in sauce pan; simmer until sugar dissolves.
Beat eggs until foamy
Stir butter, vanilla and nuts into syrup. When the butter melts, stir in eggs. Pour into pie shell

Bake325º 40 minutes then at 300º until filling is set..
