1 c margarine 2 c sifted flour 2 t vanilla 2 t water 1/3 c sugar 1 c nuts
Cream margarine and sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix well and add flour and nuts. Chill dough 3 to 4 hours. Shape into small balls. Bake at 350 on ungreased cookie sheets for 20 minutes. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
I make these every year at Christmas. I also make a huge batch to give to my brother Alan for his birthday.
