1/3 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
4 cups milk
1/4 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder & pepper
6 slices bacon
6 large baking potatoes, scrubbed
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Bake potatoes until done.
While potatoes are cooking, cut bacon slices into small pieces and brown over medium high heat. When done place on paper towel.
Whisk flour with cold milk and add to melted butter in pan on medium heat. Add spices. When roux is thickened continue cooking over low heat while preparing potatoes.
Peel and cut up potatoes. You may want to mash some of the potatoes also. Add potatoes to the milk mixture.
Blend in sour cream.
Add bacon and 1/2 cup cheese.
Sprinkle with extra cheese.
