Two Chicken Breasts
½ C almonds
½ C flour
1 Egg
1 tsp. each Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme, Cayenne pepper
1 tsp. each Savory, Marjoram, Garlic powder, salt, pepper
2 Tbs. Butter

Prep time 30~45 minutes.
Makes approx 10 strips

Finely chop almonds to a granular consistency. Add ¼ C of flour. Grind all herbs and spices and salt in a mortar and pestle and add to flour/almond mixture. Spread mixture into a dinner plate.

Put remaining ½ C of flour in a small bowl, and beat egg in a separate small bowl.

Cut chicken breasts into long thin strips about the width of a finger. Thoroughly coat strips in the flour bowl, dip floured strips in the scrambled egg bowl, then finally coat the strips with the nutty spice mixture in the dinner plate.

Deep fry coated chicken strips in peanut oil on high heat or fry in a frying pan with butter on medium heat until golden brown.
