2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
½ cup cocoa
Pinch of salt
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup evaporated milk (½ water and ½ milk if using regular milk)
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups quick oats (instant)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Use a candy thermometer to get temperature to 225º. Turn heat off, add peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Pour over oats and stir. Spoon out onto wax paper. Let dry. Turn over the cookies and let the other side dry.
