1/4 c. fresh lime juice
1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 lb. flank steak

Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the salsa, soup mix, lime juice and sugar until blended. Reserve 1 cup of marinade and set aside.
2. Place flank steak in a zipper-top plastic bag and pour the remaining marinade over the steak. Seal the bag and marinate in refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
3. Preheat grill or broiler for 10 minutes; remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak, brushing frequently with the reserved marinade for 5 minutes on one side. Turn and grill another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the steak is grilled to desired doneness. Remove the steak from the grill and cut across the grain, on an angle, into thin strips.
