1-1/2 - 2 cups heavy cream
1 lg clove of garlic, finely minced
salt and pepper
2 - 2-1/2 lbs potatoes (6-7 cups sliced at 1/8th")
grated swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Pour 1-1/2 cups cream into saucepan. Stir in garlic, 1/2 tsp salt and some pepper. Drop potatoes in cream. 1/2" of cream should cover potatoes, if not add a little more. Cook for 1 - 1-1/2 hours very slowly. Pour into baking dish. Cover with cheese and bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes
