Beets
4 cups vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
3 tbs. Mixed pickling spice (tied in bag)
Directions:
Directions:
Cook beets and peel. Pack in tins. Boil vinegar, water, salt and spices for 5 minutes.
Remove spice bag. Pour over beets to completely cover them.

Seal at once.
