Cornmeal
6 C. Flour
4 ½ tsp Dry Active Yeast (2 pkg's)
1 Tbs. Sugar
2 Tbs. Salt
¼ tsp. Baking Soda
2 C. Milk
1 ½ C. Water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease two loaf pans and sprinkle with cornmeal. Sift together 3C flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.

Heat milk and water until slightly warm. Add warmed milk to dry mixture. Beat well, then add remaining 3C flour to make a stiff batter. Do not knead.

Spoon into prepared loaf pans and sprinkle cornmeal on top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 mins. Bake for 35 mins. or until golden brown. Remove from pans to cooling rack immediately.
