Ingredients:
Elmer’s Glue
Borax (Brand powdered soap)
Zipper-lock bag (quart size)
Empty plastic soda bottle with cap
water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Making the Borax Water: Borax is a type of powder soap that is readily available in most grocery stores. Measure out 1 tbsp. of Borax powder into the empty soda bottle. Add 1 cup of warm water. Replace the cap and shake. Label the bottle “Borax Water Mixture” using a permanent felt-tip marker. Remember that 1 cup of Borax water will make many batches of Goofy Putty.
2. Preparing the Glue: Measure 1 tbsp. of Elmer’s Glue into a zipper-lock style bag. Add 1 tbsp. off water into the bag and mix. The additional water makes the glue very runny.
3. Making Goofy Putty: add 1 tbsp. of Borax water to the bag of watered-down glue. (measuring tip: the cap of the soda bottle holds approximately 1 tbsp. of liquid.) seal the bag and squeeze for 2 minutes in order to thoroughly mix the liquids.
