Ingredients:  
Put in well greased 9X13 inch pan:
8 cups apples, peeled & sliced
Put this mixture over apples:
1 t. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1½ c. sugar(or 2 if very tart)
4 T. flour

Cover with following mixture:
1½ c. flour
1½ c. oatmeal
1½ c. brown sugar
¾ c. oleo
Mix & pack all but ½ c. of mixture on apples(pack firm)
Sprinkle ½ cup over top. Bake one hour at 350°.

This recipe from my sister Eva is the best apple crisp, living in a state with every kind of apple I used Granny Smith's which are very tart but very juice when cooked I used the two cups of sugar. Thank you, Eva for a great recipe.
