1-32 oz. pkg frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1-8 oz. carton sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Soften onions in 1/2 cup butter in the microwave. Combine with potatoes, soup, sour cream and cheese. Spoon into a greased 2-1/2 qt. casserole dish. Crush cereal and stir into remaining butter. Sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
