1 cup packed brown sugar

1 stick butter

2 tablespoons corn syrup

unsliced cinnamon bread. I use Texas Toast, I like the thickness. I trim the edges and cut each piece in two, makes a nice serving size. You can get almost a whole loaf in a 9 x 13 pan.

5 eggs

1 1/2 cups milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

powdered sugar. I sprinkle cinnamon on top before baking.

-Melt butter, add brown sugar and corn syrup. Combine well.
-Spray 13 x 9 inch pan.
-Slice bread into 3/4" to 1" thick slices.
-Pour butter mixture into baking dish, arrange slices flat in butter mixture, squeeze to fit in.
-In blender, mix eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread slices, covering completely.
-Cover and refrigerate overnight.
-Uncover and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
-Dust with powdered sugar.
-Serve right from baking dish
