1 pkg Miniature Hershey bars with almonds or variety pkg
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
* Unwrap and cut chocolate bars in half.

* Cream shortening, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.

* Add in egg and beat well.

* Combine flour, baking soda and salt into the creamed mixture.

* Shape dough around chocolate bars to cover completely.

* Bake on a greased cookie sheet @350º for 10-12 minutes
