Ingredients: 1-2 Carrots 1-2 Celery Onions (Green preferred) 6 Potatoes 1 Cauliflower (small piece) 3 Cups of Water 2 Cups of Boiling Water with Chicken Bouillon Cube 6 Pieces of Cooked Bacon
1/4 Cup Margarine or Butter 1/4 Cup Flour Sprinkle Onion Soup Mix Dash Salt and Pepper

Directions: |
Directions:Chop vegetables and place into large pot. Add 3 cups of water. Boil the kettle and add 1 chicken boilion per large cup and mix until cube is dissolved. Simmer on low for 1.5 hours. Cook Bacon is a frying pan, remove from heat and grease by padding with paper towel or napkin. Chop the baon and add into the simmering soup. Melt the butter in a small sauce pan. Sprinkle in Onion Soup Mix and a Dash of Salt and Pepper. Bring to a boil. Add flour to melted mixture and stir in milk to thicken. Add thickening rue to the soup and bring to a boil over medium heat to thicken soup. Return to a slow simmer until ready to eat. |
