1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese
For Glaze: 2 cups sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. sugar
For crust
I follow the recipe on the box of graham cracker crumbs, but I use 1 1/2 times the ingredients to avoid stretching the crumbs too far in the pan.

Make graham cracker crust. Press into spring form pan and refrigerate.

Beat eggs until light. Add sugar and lemon juice until incorporated. Add cream cheeses, one at a time, thoroughly beating Fold into crust inside spring form pan and bake at 375 degrees for an hour.

Meanwhile mix glaze ingredients together. Raise oven temperature to 475 degrees. Spread glaze on top of cheese cake and return to hot oven for about 15 minutes. Watch for over-browning. Cool and refrigerate at least 24 hours.

I started making this cheesecake in the late 1960's and have never altered the recipe except, occasionally, I will spread the top with a pie filling after it has cooled. Cherry pie filling is pretty for February.
